Kata

Here you will find videos of most of the kata for Shotokan Karate. A good approach when trying to learn a kata is to watch the video, observe the individual techniques being used, and then imitate them as closely as possible. In class, Sensei will comment on the specifics of certain kata that may be difficult to perceive in the video alone. Do not become to used to what you learn from the video alone since changing your technique after Sensei sees it will become more difficult if you do.
