Experience: Sensei Wang is the student of Sensei Shigeru Takashina, 8th Dan black belt and director of SAKA. He began practicing Shotokan Karate over 30 years ago while living in Florida, and has since taught the Shotokan class at the University of Florida and now at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sensei Wang places emphasis on the basics of Shotokan Karate and drives each student to develop according to their individual abilities.
